Botany Bay FHS (now Family History Botany Bay) was formed in 1984 to assist members in their family history research by providing a meeting place for genealogists and family historians to pursue their common interests and we currently have a membership of well over 400. Our library and research centre is located at the Port Hacking Community Centre, 184 Gannons Road Caringbah South in the Sutherland Shire, approximately 30kms south of Sydney in New South Wales Australia.

Monthly meetings feature a Q & A session, and informative and entertaining speakers on a wide variety of subjects of interest to genealogists and family historians. A Members Chat meeting is also held on the third Wednesday of the month, via Zoom. Education classes, including beginner lessons, and special interest groups provide a friendly learning environment for problem solving and advancement of research. More....
